Terms of Service | Tracy-Lynn Ball
These terms are written in plain language because that's how I do business. If anything is unclear, reach out and I'll explain it.

1. Who This Covers

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services offered by Tracy-Lynn Ball ("I", "me", "my"), operating as a sole proprietor in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada.

By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or services.

2. Services Offered

I provide the following services to small businesses:

  • AI automation consulting and implementation — custom-built solutions including voice agents, workflow automation, and system integrations
  • Education workshops — virtual and in-person sessions on AI for business ("Where AI Fits In Your Business")
  • Business audits — assessments of where AI and automation can benefit your operations
  • Training and handoff — teaching your team to use and manage the solutions I build

3. How Engagements Work

Workshops

  • Workshops are offered through Eventbrite. Registration and payment for workshops are subject to Eventbrite's terms in addition to these.
  • Free workshops may be offered at my discretion.
  • Workshop content is educational. Results depend on your implementation — I don't guarantee specific business outcomes from attending a workshop.

Mini Audits

  • Mini audits are offered at no charge as a discovery tool.
  • A mini audit identifies opportunities — it is not a deliverable or implementation commitment.
  • There is no obligation to purchase services after a mini audit.

Consulting and Implementation Projects

  • All paid work is covered by a separate written agreement (Statement of Work or Proposal) that we both sign before work begins.
  • That agreement will specify the scope, timeline, deliverables, payment terms, and ownership.
  • My standard model is Build, Train, Hand Off — you own everything I build for you. No retainers, no lock-in.

4. Payments

  • Payments for services are processed through Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
  • Workshop payments may be processed through Eventbrite.
  • Payment terms for consulting projects will be outlined in the project agreement.
  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

5. Intellectual Property

What You Own

  • For implementation projects: you own all custom-built deliverables (automations, integrations, configurations, documentation) once final payment is received.
  • Your business data remains yours at all times.

What I Own

  • I retain ownership of my general knowledge, methods, frameworks, and reusable templates that aren't specific to your business.
  • Workshop content, website content, and educational materials are my intellectual property.
  • You may not record, redistribute, or resell workshop content without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

I take my work seriously and aim to deliver real value. That said:

  • I provide services on an "as-is" basis. I don't guarantee specific revenue increases, time savings, or business outcomes.
  • I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of my services or this website.
  • My total liability for any claim related to my services is limited to the amount you paid me for those specific services.
  • I am not responsible for outages, changes, or issues with third-party platforms (Vapi, Make.com, GHL, etc.) used in solutions I build.

7. Your Responsibilities

When we work together, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your business and requirements
  • Make timely decisions and provide feedback when requested
  • Ensure you have authority to grant access to any business systems involved
  • Not use any solutions I build for illegal purposes

8. Website Use

  • This website is for informational and business purposes.
  • Don't use it to scrape data, distribute malware, or do anything illegal.
  • I may update the website and its content at any time without notice.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Workshops: Refund policies for workshops follow Eventbrite's standard refund policies or will be stated on the event page.
  • Consulting projects: Cancellation terms will be specified in the project agreement. Generally, you pay for work completed up to the cancellation date.
  • Mini audits: Free — nothing to refund.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

11. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms as my business evolves. The effective date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of my website or services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
